Conference Overview

Developing & Extending Learning Provision

A 2-day conference focusing on the wide range of issues affecting the skills agenda across all types of vocational training, learning, education and development.

The continuing development and retention of skills within UK employment will not be helped by the economic climate over the next few years. There will be critical need to ensure that the capability will be there to maintain the momentum of recovery from the recession. The picture will be affected by many different but interrelated issues and this conference will explore six of these dimensions to include the main areas of training, development and learning provision that substantially impact on financial performance and recovery.

This conference will bring together six dimensions of focus on the issues and potential solutions to maintain the skills development agenda. Plenary sessions will focus on each dimension in turn whilst linked workshops will provide underpinning detail and different perspectives to the same dimensions.
